Endotine® & Ultratine® Forehead

Product Key Features for Endotine® & Ultratine® Forehead:

  • Successful Tissue Fixation: Safe and trusted fixation of scalp tissue in any forehead lift surgery.
  • Biodegradable Polymer: The construction of materials is an 82:18 blend of polylactic and polyglycolic acid that naturally gets absorbed with time.
  • Ultratine Fast-Absorbing Option: Ultratine has a fast-absorption rate of 90 percent within 60 days; thus, there is less palpability over a long-term period, and the patients become more comfortable.
  • Reduced later Sensitivity: Ultratine has faster degradation, so the palpability and sensitivity will not be as persistent post-operatively after 3 months.
  • Several Sizes: Supplied in three sizes to suit the different anatomies of patients and also to suit the surgical requirements.
  • Patient-Friendly Design: Reduces the number of permanent implants, resulting in a better aesthetic outcome and comfort.
Categories: Endotine

The Endotine device was designed to effectively fix the scalp tissue efficiently in thread-like stitches; the polymer consists of the blending of polylactic and polyglycolic acids in the ratio 82:18. A similar relative form is called Ultratine 1, in which the degrading polymer has a faster decomposition process to provide lower palpability and neuropathy to patients. Endotine maintains high strength over time, but Ultratine loses 90% of that in 60 days, so it is preferred by patients who could use quicker absorption. They each come in three sizes in order to accommodate a variety of surgeries.
